Senior Athletic Awards

Kearsley’s Senior Athletic Awards honor student athletes for their commitment to being part of a team and representing Kearsley High School with pride. The lessons learned through athletics build strong lasting life skills that carry over into other aspects in life, including:

  • Student athletes must do well in school in order to participate in sports. This teaches how to multi-task, organize and be persistent.

  • Sports in high school teach students how to collaborate and how to operate separately, yet together. This is an essential skill for the competitive workplace they will one day serve.

  • Learning to treat people with dignity, especially under the press of competition, is one of the most valuable life lessons sports can offer.
