Senior Athletic Awards
Kearsley’s Senior Athletic Awards honor student athletes for their commitment to being part of a team and representing Kearsley High School with pride. The lessons learned through athletics build strong lasting life skills that carry over into other aspects in life, including:
Student athletes must do well in school in order to participate in sports. This teaches how to multi-task, organize and be persistent.
Sports in high school teach students how to collaborate and how to operate separately, yet together. This is an essential skill for the competitive workplace they will one day serve.
Learning to treat people with dignity, especially under the press of competition, is one of the most valuable life lessons sports can offer.
